Finally, the third and final Christmas post!! We drove from Utah to Idaho Falls to spend Christmas Eve and day with Corey's family. We had such a wonderful time!!
Zoey with Nana and Papa's beautiful tree in the background.
Zach and Zoey's sleep schedule (so of course mine and Corey's also) was so crazy by day 4 of our trip. Zach had a late nap and was subsequently up until 1 am our first night in IF. Most nights they went down around 10 or 11. Then they were both up around 7 am most days. Naps were hard to come by. (Did I mention that while we are travelling, I swear I never want to travel with kids again? We so love our visits in every way except for the MAJOR sleep disturbances, often followed by immune system crashes and illness. Ugh!! I don't know if there is an answer to this issue!!) He was getting CRAZY by Christmas Eve. Corey took him out to the car for a timeout in his car seat, and he immediately crashed- right before Santa was scheduled to visit. We tried to wake him up, but he was out cold, so I enjoyed a few moments of snuggling, which hadn't happened in awhile.
He got a 20-30 minute power nap before the special visitor arrived, and was able to enjoy the evening much more!
My sweet little twin nephews
Zach and his cousins, Spencer and Caleb.
Zoey really got into the unwrapping!
Zach's "iPad"--Nana and Papa got all the kids tablets for Christmas and he is in love!!!
Zoey hanging with her preteen cousins. She still belts out Taylor Swift from time to time due to their influence!!
Zach couldn't get enough of the snow--especially eating it!!
The three amigos glued to their tablets!
Nana and Zoey
We loved our time with our family there and look forward to many more white Christmases with them!! (But we are sure enjoying the 70 degree Dallas January weather in the meantime!!)
